Ana Altafulla Paralegal

Ana Carolina Altafulla

 Criminal Attorney Paralegal

Ana Carolina Altafulla is the engine room of CBS Law. A native of Panama, she trained in law and political science at Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua before earning her MBA with an emphasis in finance — cum laude — from Universidad Interamericana de Panamá. That combination of rigorous legal training and financial discipline shows up in everything she touches at the firm: case files stay clean, deadlines never slip, and the calendar runs with a precision that lets the lawyers focus on lawyering. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Ana brings a steady, organized presence to the team — and a warmth that clients feel from the moment she’s on their case.

Christina Duran Investigator

Christina Duran

 Licensed Private Investigator

Christina Duran is a licensed private investigator whose work runs from the courtroom to the field — and well beyond California’s borders. As a Board-Certified Criminal Defense Investigator and Mitigation Specialist, she has worked capital murder cases, resentencings, Franklin hearings, and juvenile transfer cases, helping defense teams build the kind of life-history record that can mean the difference between a death sentence and a life, or between juvenile court and an adult prison. Her financial-fraud investigations have recovered millions of dollars in restitution from insurance companies, medical providers, and transportation operators who tried to game the system. As a Certified Human Trafficking Investigator, Christina has worked search-and-recovery operations in the Dominican Republic, served as a Global Trafficking Volunteer with the United Nations, and continues that work as California State Operator for Operation Found Safe. She earned her B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and holds investigator certifications from the McAfee Institute and UNESCO. What clients feel, more than the credentials, is her steadiness — the calm of someone who has spent her career walking into hard rooms and walking out with what the case actually needs.
